We also have his sister MISSY MICHELLE, who unless adopted is also listed on our Petfinder site. He was found on a remote road in northern Bollinger County, standing in a ditch near his sister. She was lying in a puddle of mud, in pain from being hit by a vehicle over a week earlier, and bearing two broken legs. He stayed with her which is like a story from a child's book on his devotion. We don't know if they were dumped or if they did not make it home from a hunting excursion. It is apparent he is the alpha of the two. He also likes to display alpha behaviors to any new dog entering his pen. So we recommend he is best as the only dog, but he likes company, so a family with kids ages 10 and up because we don't want him thinking small kid's toys are his toys! He is not lazy but not hyper either. BEST in a home where his owners like to take daily walks or have a fenced in yard and will spend time with him. CLEAN in the pen, not a marker either so he should be easy to house train. Mature weight should be 40-45 pound range. Adoption fee is $200. To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 from 9:30am to 9:30pm CENTRAL TIME. Please leave your telephone if you send us a request to adopt so I can contact you! Mature weight is 85 pounds. WILMA DEE was a stray. Story to her leads us to believe she just turned age 2 December of 2018. Tempermanet is requiring a dog savvy owner, being very submissive in nature. She was seen abused as a pup and wiht a soft temperament, she shows NO aggression towards humans but is worried about them doing something to her. So we are looking for a patient home, no small kids, a somewhat quiet house, as in people who don't holler at each other, but like music and like to exercise to get her out and socialize. She is low key need, not hyper but not a door mat either. We treated her for mild heartworms, she is fully vetted. This gal is going to be a very good companion to the right home. She will however take some time. She is not a quick fix, but I suspect that in 3-4 months as a house dog, taken out on a leash daily, this gal will not resemble who she is today. Adoption fee is $250. To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 from 9:30am to 9:30pm CENTRAL TIME. Please leave your telephone if you send us a request to adopt so I can contact you! Dirty and Dandy Logan loves to play in the mud and water. This poor guy in in an outdoor kennel, albeit a 48 x 25 size, but when loose he wants to hunt and play is the dirt...so for his safety from coyotes and the road at the end of our very long driveway, he is stuck outside... What a shame............ BEAUTIFUL dog when cleaned up but hard to get a photo of him until he runs out some of the "caged up energy", so these are the best I have at the moment... Sorry! ! ! SWEET temperament, a bit reserved, for a few seconds, he was one of five pups we took this summer after being abandoned, then taken to a vet office in Butler County. We have NO clue of true identity genetically, so we guess Schnauzer and Lab according to the other pups. He also has two sisters who have smooth coats and look Lab and Rat Terrier (Shelby still needs to be adopted). One sister who looks like him who is already adopted. He needs a dog savvy family. Leash work just started and he is scared of the leash... So we are needing work. Mature weight should be 40 pounds or a bit more. Adoption fee is $250. Shelby is playful and a mild alpha. Best in a home with larger dogs, male or female, but she especially likes males. She can be too bossy for small or submissive dogs or dogs who want to defend toys or deer bones she finds. For this reason, I will not adopt to families with kids under age 10. We have listed Shelby for $100 less than we normally do because we need her to be finding a home quickly. She likes to run and hunt and has started to leave the front yard. We can't have this, because we don't want her to start wandering. She can be a bit stubborn, not come when called if she finds a rabbit trail, so I will only adopt to a city family or county who have a FENCED in Yard or who keeps their pooch on a leash when outside. She LOVES attention, wants it. Yet is curious and wants to explore when she gets a chance to be loose in our house. Mature weight should be 40 pounds or less. more like 35 pounds. Donnie was found near ARAB as a stray with a very PG Rat Terrier mix gal, dumped along side a busy highway. The property owner is elderly so we stepped in to make room for the pair of very good natured dogs. We transferred the female to a St. Louis rescue: Camp Chaos. We named Donnie after his savior Good Samaritan. GREAT dog for kids. He likes to follow us around the yard, watching and keeping close. GREAT DOG for a hiker too. He is LOYAL. Will stand up for himself. Does not run or hunt. VICE: easily jumps and crawls out of a 4 foot fence. He needs an electrified or wooden fence. Seems to be house broke. NOT a marker when outside either. Crate trained. Adoption fee $250. To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 from 9:30am to 9:30pm CENTRAL TIME. Marty was 18 pounds at 6 mo of age, a bit large for a Miniature Schnauzer, and he was too large for his elderly owner. Marty likes to walk on the back of your foot, your heel, so between that and jumping on her for attention then no help teaching him manners... We got the call. Marty is actually a really sweet guy, a bit needy, explaining the walking on you and jumping stuff... He is very good on a leash, good about going to his kennel, food motivated so he is going to be easy to train. He is STARTED on house training, but not fully trustworthy. This guy should THRIVE on training with the use of a BELL at the door. Go to Google the following: " HOUSE TRAIN DOG DOOR BELL " to learn how to train a dog to ring a bell to TELL you they want or need out. Keep him on a leash at your side for two weeks to house train and to teach what is off limits in the house too like shoes, etc. . Marty LOVES to cuddle. He is SUPER with all the dogs here and he is with 22 pups to 125 pound adult dogs in our yard. We feel he would be good with cats too as he had shown no hunt drive. He can be mouthy so no small kids. He can be trained out of that and has done well with us, but small kids naturally encourage a mouthy dog to be MORE mouthy. Adoption fee is $350. Mutley fetches, and fetches and fetches! He is a good spirit with kids and likes female dogs, but had an issue with other dogs who challenge him. He was GREAT with our alpha and dogs when here a short time, but does not like two forward males at his foster's home. So he is best in a home with a female dog. He came from a home, as a former stray (stray as a small pup) who had five foster kids. This guy LOVED them but started to run and run on a busy highway, so to save his life, he ended up with us... This gal came to us this summer starved, with a severely broken hind leg. We learned who her owner was but when I contacted authorities, to my knowledge, nothing was done. She now runs fast and freely without her leg bothering her. We named Pamela after her savior. This gal was found by a St. Louis area gal whose mom lived where this stray was found. Pam got online to find our number and because she had a broken leg, even being full, we took this pup in. When Pamela first came here she was a submissive-pee dog being worried we were going to beat her. Her behavior, her body language, was becoming of such a dog. A real submissive dog with this issue is harder to train out of the ducking and peeing, and her "ducking" was indicative of overreach by previous "care takers", not that she is genetically wimpy. So her submissive behavior is due to previous care being heavy handed. When on a leash she cowers down in a worried state as you will see in all photos while on leash. Those photos taken in the field and when she is "free" show happy character. Because she has such a short coat we only have one pen she can be kept in which has heated dog houses. She is kenneled with Boston Terrier mix LILY, her weight, and a male named WISEMAN who is a Mountain Cur. She must be kenneled in a pen while here because she won't stay home. She is a hunter, a runner. We will only adopt her to a city home where she will be kept on a leash. Pamela is best in a home with male dogs of medium to large size. She is coming a year of age, weight is about 35-40 pounds. We were told she is a Rat Terrier and Pit mix. We "see" the Rat Terrier but am unsure of the Pit, so suspect one parent may have been a pit type mix, even boxer with her color and size, frame/build. Adoption fee is $100. a steal for a dog we have over $700 in vetting bills. We had received some money in a fund-raising attempt to help pay her bills. Call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 to adopt. Sausage Dog came to us back in early October, or late September. This little guy had an alpha attitude, pretty tough guy so the neuter did him a LOT of good! He gets along well with all the dogs here except for a bossy alpha Dachshund male. So I will say the best fit for him would be in a home with a female dog, or very mild mannered male. Kids? I really don't know. I would suggest he be with kids that are age 8 and older, not younger because I don't feel he would be patient enough with kids that crowd him or don't know when to leave him alone. Usually I have a very good idea of dogs with kids, but this guy loves being held and loved, yet I just do NOT feel secure to say he would put up with younger kids antics or lack of respect for his space. This guy is a LOVER, a little Casanova, when you hold him. He melts, hugs and kisses. We call him SAUSAGE DOG because he is thick from head to tail and short legged. He weighs about 15 pounds. I will "guess" him as a Pug and Chihuahua. He looks like a Corgi and Chihuahua...someone knows but heck, we think he was dumped so we will never know... Adoption fee is $250. HW negative, shots up to date and ready for a home. Not fully house trained. I don't have the time with all these dogs to do right by his house training. So when he comes in he runs right to his crate. Nice double coat, he spends a good deal of time outside playing with the pack To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 from 9:30am to 9:30pm CENTRAL TIME. VERY loving dog who will lick your face at a high speed if you get low enough. She can't show enough gratitude for having a good life and simply loves humans and dogs of all sizes alike. Missy Michelle was found by a VERY kind Good Samaritan. We feel this dog had been seen by many other vehicles as she lay along the side of the road for 10 to 14 days before she was picked up, very thin, lying in a mud puddle for water in a ditch. She had her brother with her who is a red sable. The Good Samaritan is a mobile dog groomer who called and asked us for help. We accepted here and she was taken to Lacroix Pet Hospital in Cape Girardeau where she would get surgery for her hip after a hold period of five days. No owner would come forward. She had a shoulder bone broke front left and the hind left femur bone was broken and removed in surgery when spayed. Her shoulder had already started to fuse and was too old by that time to plate or pin. So her front leg is about an inch or less shorter on the left but it does not affect her running or walking as seen in the photos. We are seeking a home for her where the dogs are not too hard at playing and not too large if they like to play. She is playful and adventurous. Not shy, very VERY smart. Mature weight should be around 50 pounds Must have a fenced in yard or always walk on a leash. She has a hunting drive and a GREAT tracking nose. HIGH FOOD DRIVE so can be easy to train, also being a very smart gal! Adoption fee is $250. To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 from 9:30am to 9:30pm CENTRAL TIME. CATO Is part of the EPIC PALS PROGRAM where she is being trained by kids to do the basic commands. She is not very food motivated but responds to love and affection. She was found as a STRAY and after the Good Samaritan caught her and took photos she would not come up to strangers again until we live trapped her a month later, when I finally got room to take her. She was fed all that while by the property owners and us. She acted dull, like she had no life. WE BELIEVE that she had been loved by and elderly person who may have died or gone into a nursing home. We can't explain how she is house broke, super sweet, no aggression tendencies and yet she was so blank, so dull for a few weeks while here. Tail hung straight down for about a week and a half. FINALLY she wagged it one day when I walked up to her. That was the beginning a real transition in her personality to the positive, My husband wanted me to keep this gal, and we both love her THAT MUCH! But we don't need another dog and she would be much happier in a quieter home than our crazy rescue camp. Not a dog to be put under a great deal of stress. If you have wild kids and or a lot of very young kids, NO kids who like to be loud... don't call for this gal . . You would make her life miserable. Mature weight should be 18 pounds. DAISY DOO was found as a stray. We would later locate the owner and learn that two more similar pups we had found that were also starving at a very young age, were siblings. A neighbor of ours had 11 pups from two mother dogs (daughter and mother to her). He is as thin as his pups. [We think] the pups had followed the mothers about 3/4 to a mile to another co rd where at about age 8 weeks they became to tired or were distracted and did not make it home. DAISY DOO is a very smart gal and laid back. She has a fantastic nose so she requires a fenced in yard or she will be gone scouting, tracking the smells. She is NOT a barker and simply is a very good natured dog that we feel will be good with cats because of her good nature. She should be easy to finish to house training. She is not given total house rights since we have so many rescues here. She took to a crate like a fish to water. She is one of the rare older pups that we can allow to be with small pups safely. She prefers to have another dog as company but would also be ok as a single dog. LOVE this cutie... YOU will too! Available to take home the end of October. Call now to secure her for your home. Mature weight should be 40 pounds. Adoption fee is $250. To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 from 9:30am to 9:30pm CENTRAL TIME. ROSS: Mature weight should be 40 pounds. Estimated age is May 12, 2018. THIS DOG HAS THE TEMPERAMENT TO BE A MEDICAL ALERT DOG FOR SEIZURES OR LOW DIABETIC TRAINING. VERY SENSITIVE TO SMELL, VERY DEVOTED DOG, VERY SOCIAL DOG, CONFIDENT DOG. SMART. HE WANTS TO PLEASE YOU. High food drive and will be very easy to train. He loves personal time and melts in my arms. Does not know a stranger. NOT shy. GREAT nose for a tracker. He will require a fenced yard when mature or may be gone hunting. He and his little sister were found as strays, so weak from starvation and covered in fleas and ticks. Her name is BETSY., as in Betsy Ross since they were found just before INDEPENDENCE DAY. She has been adopted and they LOVE her too. BETSY IS ADOPTED. A second sister was also found in the same area and her name is DAISY DAISY DO, who may still be listed on our Petfinder page as adoptable. From the beginning they were ALL very loving. They were also VERY clean in their kennel, potty in the corner. They want to be clean. Ross and Daisy are now house dogs in our rescue home. Three weeks after we accepted these strays we would learn a neighbor had owned them. He, disabled and too poor to take proper care of them could not pay us back for our vet bills so thankfully we are able to find them all great homes. The very young pups had apparently followed the adult dogs and were too tired in the heat to track back home, being at least a mile from home at age 6-8 weeks old. Adoption fee is $250. Lily's mom was a purebred Boston Terrier who had to have a C-section to deliver her litter of three pups. Mom died of complications two weeks later. We have been asked to take every remaining pup because the owner's son died, leaving behind two young children. Grandpa and Grandma wanted the kids to have the pups but raising the kids and the pups was too much. So first we had a male puppy, then a sister and now, the kids had no interest in Lily, who is energetic, and so we also took Lovely Lily. She was pretty hyper at first but now has settled down to be what we feel is a pretty normal Boston Terrier activity level, just that she is larger than a typical Boston Terrier. She loves her crate, loves to play with the many other house rescue dogs here too, of all sizes. She would be happiest with another dog to play with and an active family who is dog savvy or will take her to an obedience class so you learn to give consistent commands and direction. Mature weight should be 40 pounds or less. more like 35 pounds. Adoption fee is $250. To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 from 9:30am to 9:30pm CENTRAL TIME. Mature weight 16 pounds. FREDDIE came to us as a stray in the Leopold MO area with a huge bump to the head. He was also very timid then, not trusting but not nippy. He acted like someone hit him over the head. The odd bump quickly dissipated and he became a trusting dog. He was OILY, filthy and it seems this little guy was an outside dog living in the elements, probably during the winter months too and his coat is not suited to those conditions. He was cleaned up and has proven he LIKES being clean so obviously his first impression of being like a hobo was not the way FREDDIE liked to be remembered! Freddie is a bit of an alpha over the pups here, but he gets along very well with the other dogs of all sizes and seems to like to hand with the larger dogs for some reason. We have had Freddie here since 5/16/18. We think he may have allergies because he shed so much when he first came and his coat was ruff. He requires a low ingredient diet. Once we started feeding him on our premium low allergy foods his coat stopped the shed and started to quickly improve. He is a normal shed now. Freddie comes when called. He is crate trained and food motivated so he should be pretty easy to train. Adoption fee is $250. To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 from 9:30am to 9:30pm CENTRAL TIME. TRACY REMINGTON is looking for an active owner who is dog savvy. This guy is SMART but also driven with a curious temperament. He wants to see and needs to know...What is that over there??? All the pups from his litter looked like purebred Labs except for that white on almost all of them...just a little... Mom was a solid black Lab looking gal, a PG stray from the Glenn Allen area of Missouri. So his blood history is unknown. Would he make a good hunting dog? I have NO idea. He is a guy who will run and have fun. So a fenced in yard is a must. NOT a couch potato. This guy would LOVE a family who likes to bike or job. Walks a must to keep him happy. NOTE FIRST that they DO NOT need to be adopted together. shown together so we can showcase them both, as both need homes and their story starts being together. September 8 of 2017 we received a call about two Heelers between Patton and Marble Hill Missouri, laying in a ditch together. Drivers noticed them several days in a row. Finally a Good Samaritan found them in their yard and called us. One of them had a severely broken leg, surely because of chasing vehicles along Hwy OO or Hwy 51. Of course we accepted them even though we had NO room for the two at the time. We paid for board for several days while the male was put on pain killers and antibiotics and was cleaned up. His old injury could not be set unless we wanted to be liable for everything medically done should an owner come forward. Of course, as it usually the case, but not always, the owner did not come forward. We were told by another person they thought they knew who the owners were but they would not return the call. So after the HOLD date was met we had Merle's leg amputated and he was instantly a happier dog, doing so excellent on three legs. Many things were touching about this couple's story. PAISLEY never left MERLE'S side. She was devoted to him. Folks stepped up to help them, first being concerned about seeing them but then later when they realized Merle was injured, they called to save his life. Then they drove the pair to the vet. THEN Rachel Riley, a faithful follower, a dog trainer, and a VET TECH, called us offering to foster them because she knew we had no room. Rachel took two high prey drive breed dogs into a home which also has exotic pets along with dogs of their own. Under Rachel's care they have been well trained, however there is NO taking the prey drive out of PAISLEY and instead of adopting them to be her own, we need to find them other separate families. Paisley plays to hard for MERLE'S life as a three legged mate. RACHEL WROTE: "PAISLEY is a very high energy girl who would do best with lots of outside time. She gets along with other medium-large dogs and people well, but needs a home with no small animals or young children or access to chickens, ducks or rabbits. While she struggles with impulse control, she learns new tasks quickly... ...With her high energy and prey drive, she will wander if left out unconfined so a fenced in area would be best so she can run safely. Don't be fooled by her rambunctious nature, she is still a cuddle bug. Her favorite place to be is on the couch with you or at your feet. Merle has a very sweet and calm disposition. He is very loyal and devoted, never wanting to leave your side. Whether playing outside, lounging on the couch, or working around the house, he wants to be with you. He does not do well in a kennel, but he is allowed free roam of the house when I am not home. He does not have accidents and he does not get into or tear anything up. Merle loves people, he enjoys greeting everyone we meet out in public. He does not do well with small children (under the age of 10) however so he will need a child free home. He gets along great with other dogs and does not mind cats. My cat is very non-reactive so I do not know if he would chase an active cat, he does try to chase other small animals. I have recently had to separate him from Paisley however as he has shown some aggression towards her. I believe it is because she is too rough and hurts his amputation site too often. " Paisley will have accidents in her crate. Please no water before crating long periods. Have a tight feeding schedule and use her food for training treats. Train her at meal time so she is fed on a schedule which includes her treats. A dog needs to urinate 45 to 60 minutes after drinking. So manage the water before crating. With her well insulated coat she is a good candidate to be an outdoor dog during the day and must have a fenced in yard or she stays here if loose outside. Mature weight should be about 50 pounds each. Adoption fee is $250. To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 from 9:30am to 9:30pm CENTRAL TIME. BOAZ was one of seven 4-mo old pups that we accepted 7 years ago. The owners were so poor having had a child that was severely crippled, yet they had a purebred Golden Retriever female and a male Border Collie who mated and had a beautiful litter of pups. They had trouble marketing them then called us when the litter was about age 4 months. They were being kept in a chicken coop which had shade but was off a hill side which flooded when it rained. We were called to take this litter just before the 500 year flood when our area received 24 to 29" of rain in a day or two. We had tornado's, and it was a scary and disaster period. NEW volunteers Karen and Randy Sanders agreed to take three and we made room for four of the pups which were not well socialized at the time, being locked up and given little affection. After accessing the need and size of the dogs the rain started to pour. Between the storms the Sanders and I went to get the pups. They were standing in 6-8" of sloppy mud, covered in filth, having only the tops of the chicken nests for protection from the mud. We were covered in slop from head to toe, having to catch the slippery dogs and carry them out because they had no idea what a leash or collar was... Their rescue was the most memorable in my rescue history because of the condition of the dogs and the danger we went through to get them between the flooding and dangerous storms. We bathed, vetted, and loved on them, and they quickly learned to love us. We gave them all names from the Bible because their rescue was miraculous! BOAZ and his sister RUTH lived with Karen and Randy and were adopted by a family in Wayne County. That family recently divorced after an illness of the wife. We were told the wife could not care for the dogs any longer and we took them back as we do require in our contract. They were outdoor dogs let in during the very hot or very cold weather. Here they are inside dogs only let out to play, exercise and potty. They have never eliminated in the house or their crate, letting us know they need out by going to the door. Mature weight is in the 60 pound area. Adoption fee is $150 for BOAZ or $150 for his sister RUTH. Adopt together at a discount of $250 for the pair. ALWAYS give your phone number when you inquire for more information about one of our pets. You will get a faster reply to your inquiry ... DEE DOLLY DO is estimated age 2-3. She was a former stray, found with a younger male pup that was very German Shepherd in appearance. They were found in the Aquilla MO area. Dolly is a playful gal, who is kenneled with an active male large Lab (Remington also may still be on our Petfinder page). They play so well and eat together, no arguments but going from each other's bowl until they finish. I believe she will be better in a home with medium to large males as she can play kind of hard. She is also a mild alpha, so I would not place her in a home with another female nad no cats. She has prey drive. We treated her for Heartworms this summer. She is in great health and is a dog who enjoys to be petted.. This poor gal has been locked in a 16 x 32 pen since 9/21/17, over a YEAR! No interest in her and we are shocked... Someone please give her a home. Fenced in yard or a city home where she goes out on a leash. She is a hunter, and was found as a stray, we think lost after a storm. So she will possibly not be loyal to your property if not contained in a fence or on a leash when out. Mature weight should be 36-40 pounds. Adoption fee is $250. DO-WAH stats: pretends to be shy then loves it when I corner her to hold and love on her. Best thing to happen to her would be separated from her two sisters as they feed off of each other, however I do not have any pens for them other than a 10x20 with a heated dog house. There is not a fence to keep these girls in but maybe an electric one. So they must be adopted by someone who keeps their pet on a leash when out for exercise. We are looking for an active owner too, no couch potatoes. This litter's story: They were dumped in a farming and wooded area of SE Bollinger County, pretty thin when I was able to pick them up. The home owner did not want a pack of pups to stay, being about 7 mo old at the time. But they did, typical behavior of dogs dumped: worried where to go for food and shelter... We talked her into feeding them and it took about two weeks for us to get room. They were all shy, the red sister allowed me to catch her first. I coaxed the others in a dog kennel with smelly treats. These girls were sweet from the get go, just obviously not handled much but whoever dumped them. They are all energetic, the black and tan larger sister being the calmest and bravest. They ALL love to be held like a puppy and belly rubbed. They will need a dog savvy owner with the patience and time to work with them. Crate training will be a must. Everything is a toy to them. They are very curious. DO-WAH pretends to be shy but really loves attention. She did very well on a leash in short order, submitting to it for the photos. Adoption fee is $150. Call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 to adopt. She will be be spayed before you can take her home. We are actively seeking another rescue to take these girls and separate them to get them started if a dog savvy home does not call first. We adopt out of state.

This charming and handsome guy likes to bark, that is his hunting instinct, so he needs training to be quiet if you live in town and have neighbors with dogs. His barking at movement would be very good for someone needing a guardian in the house or yard. Wiseman's movement is so BEAUTIFUL to watch. He glides with a slightly higher step like an English style horse would. He is fun to watch move! About 45 pounds, this guy is built to be a joggers best friend. He needs a family who likes to walk their dog. I have no idea how he is with cats, but I got him because he was about to be shot for trying to get a farmer's turkeys!!! I will suggest this hunting dog would not be good with cats at large. We are unable to have him as a house dog here because he is a hunter and would possibly roam off the property. I am listing him as house broke because he only eliminates outside and along the fence line, being a very "clean" dog in a large kennel. He wants his house clean. Actual house training should be very easy with Wiseman. I am looking for a city home with a fenced in yard, 5 -6 feet tall. GREAT with female dogs. He was good around male dogs in the yard too. To adopt call Marilyn at 573-722-3035. Adoption fee is $250. Transport assistance may be available. We adopt all over the USA.

Two kitties need a home. Yes, we are trying to adopt these two together. House kitties loved by their foster family. Black and white is the care taker for the black kitty. Here is their story: The little black kitty is a male. His name is Cowboy because his hind legs are bowed like a cowboy who grew up with his legs wrapped around a saddle and stout belly steed. This is because when Cowboy was a tiny kitten he was found in a creek. His hind legs broken. We think he was tossed in the rocks out of a moving vehicle or tossed at the bridge. We really don't know so this awful story is really speculation and I really should not speculate ... When Lori McCormick and her daughter first found Cowboy he was so terrified he would not come to them. They knew he was very young: the vet said he was about 7 weeks of age. He also looked tough, being very skinny. They came back in a couple days and he was still there. So they used smelly food and were able to catch him. I remember getting a call from Lori about this kitten. She was so upset about his condition and we both wondered how he had been hurt: was he thrown onto the rocks or broken by some other manner. So when she brought him home Buddy, the black and white stray cat from the year before, took over and nurtured this kitten. They so love each other that we are going to try and find a home for them together. $200 gets two cats, a savings of about $250 to you! Both cats have all their shots, and are altered, Feline Leukemia negative. Call Marilyn at 573-722-3035 or email at ace@clas.net.
